Manager

Description
As a Manager, you're responsible for inspiring your team to create ownership opportunities for customers on the sales floor. Elsewhere, you guide the talent that provides technical support and training, while working in partnership with the business team. And behind the scenes, you oversee operations such as inventory and visual merchandising. You actively build your teams  - hiring, training, and developing team members in all these disciplines and more. Supporting Apple simplicity is a complex job, and you make it look easy.

· You have demonstrated leadership ability with at least five years of experience in a customer-facing sales setting.
Cross-industry experience is welcome.
· You have a passion for learning about Apple technology and products.

Senior Manager

Description
As a Senior Manager, you guide other leaders to inspire top performance from their teams. You monitor multiple lines of business within the store to achieve operational objectives and collaborate with corporate business partners to report results. You’re knowledgeable about the industry and keep up to date about competitors and trends. You lead the sales and customer support teams by example, finding solutions to create and maintain a high level of customer focus. To foster growth among your staff, you coach and encourage with clear communications. By developing strong relationships across teams and with customers, you create an environment that enhances loyalty for Apple products and services.

Store Leader


Summary
As more and more people discover Apple, they visit our stores seeking ways to incorporate our products into their lives. It’s your job, as a Store Leader, to build and manage the various teams that engage customers in this dynamic environment. In this role, you lead the people that help customers achieve ownership, learn new skills, get technical support, and find business solutions. Adaptable and flexible by nature, you’re composed and collected as you balance the diverse needs of your teams in the midst of constant change.

· Proven ability to drive positive customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results.
· Ability to manage separate business groups within a complex environment.
· Strong communication skills to clearly impart the Apple vision to the teams you oversee.

Description
As a Store Leader, you inspire teams to deliver measurable results for the store's various business sectors. You lead a sales force that discovers customers' needs and delivers solutions to build Apple loyalty. Your technical support team helps maintain customers' trust in Apple and its products. Your business team brings the Apple experience to business customers. And the training staff you coach teaches customers how to get the most out of their Apple products. You build these lines of business by selecting and developing a knowledgeable talent pool. In addition to team building, you create excitement around products, launches, programs, and initiatives. You're responsible for upholding our high standards regarding communication and confidentiality. And by driving your staff to create customer experiences that enhance Apple loyalty, you deliver measurable results and help enrich customers' lives.

Field Merchandising Leader


Summary
The Apple Retail Merchandising team inspires our customers to discover, learn about, and buy Apple products, services, and accessories through merchandising that delivers a personalized experience like no other! The Geo Merchandising team’s mission is to implement, localize and optimize the worldwide strategy in the region.
As part of the Merchandising Field team, you are responsible for partnering with and engaging our Retail stores teams to ensure the flawless execution of our Merchandising strategies and programs that contribute to Apple Retail’s business growth and customer experience across your markets.

Key Qualifications

· The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and qualities:
Strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills
· Ability to operate within ambiguous situations and achieve results in a matrix structure
· Action oriented, passion for delivering results and making impact from strategy to tactical implementation
· Flexibility to handle directional changes. Proficient at managing multiple projects concurrently
· Proficient in negotiation and persuasion. Ability to find an outcome where everybody wins with multiple partners
· Dedication to identifying and communicating innovative ideas to improve processes and performance
· Able to commit to working outside of normal business hours as well as travel locally and abroad up to 50% of the time.

Description
Conveys the vision and purpose of our Merchandising strategies to senior stores leadership as well as providing guidance on programs to the store teams that are responsible for their successful implementation. Gathers relevant feedback from the field and shares it with key partners to enable our Geo Merchandising team to localize and optimize our approach as well as business performance for the region. 
Provide overnight support and guidance to Retail stores during Merchandising resets, including New Product Introductions and Accessory resets
Lead in-store execution of Merchandising for new store openings, remodels and relocations.
Regular store visits to review Merchandising principles and connect with field leadership
Partner with Market Director and Market Leaders around ownership opportunities and how merchandising strategies can drive Apple Retail’s priorities to drive in-store experience through aligning store team on Merchandising engagement programs
Selection, training and leadership of the New Store Opening Merchandising Mentor Program
Participate in key Field Leadership calls and meetings to drive alignment of Retail’s priorities
Provide consistent feedback to Geo Merchandising partners to ensure success of current and future programs
Create Merchandising standards and principles for a globally uniform execution and experience

Education & Experience
· BA/BS or equivalent degree (Business, Marketing, or related degree preferred)
7-10 years Retail Management or Merchandising experience
· English language required, and additionally Japanese or Korean preferred
